Seeking professional help for a loved one is never easy. But at West Oaks Hospital, we've been helping children, adolescents and adults suffering from mental illness and chemical dependency problems for more than 25 years. Offering a broad range of inpatient, partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient services, West Oaks also operates three outpatient centers in Hornwood, Katy and Friendswood, Texas.

Services:

Children's Treatment Services – Acute psychiatric treatment of children under 12
Adolescent Treatment Services – Mental health and chemical dependency care for youth ages 12-17
Adult Psychiatric Services – Treatment of adults in immediate crisis using a systems approach, as well as medication management
Chemical Dependency/Dual Diagnosis Program – Inpatient program for adults struggling with substance abuse or addiction problems
Chemical Dependency Residential Treatment Center (RTC) – Residential treatment for adults who need longer-term treatment for addictions and chemical dependency
Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Services – Program offering group therapy, relapse prevention, family support and education for adults struggling with addictions
Seniors – One of the only freestanding specialty hospitals in the Houston Metropolitan area providing a full continuum of services for seniors ranging from inpatient to outpatient care

Outpatient Services – Through The Excel Center of Friendswood, West Oaks provides a full range of community-based mental health and chemical dependency services to individuals and families
